Bookkeeping Services — Everything you need to know before getting started
We know that handing off your finances is a big decision — and we don’t take that trust lightly. Below are answers to the questions we hear most often from business owners just like you. If yours isn’t here, we’d love to hear from you and find the right solution together.
What type of bookkeeping services do you offer?
We specialize in QuickBooks and are certified QuickBooks Online ProAdvisors. We provide fully remote services and can meet via video conference to help you better understand your finances. Our cloud-based tools make document sharing secure and simple — and we work with clients across the U.S.
Do you specialize in certain types of businesses?
We work with a variety of small to mid-sized businesses across industries – service providers, consultants, real estate professionals, and more. We tailor our services to your specific needs, including customizing transaction categories to reflect how your business actually operates.
How does monthly bookkeeping work?
Each month, we review, record, and reconcile your business transactions in QuickBooks, then generate key financial reports like Profit & Loss statements and Balance Sheets — giving you a clear, confident picture of your business finances.
Do I need to already have a QuickBooks file? Or will you set one up for me?
If you don’t have a QuickBooks file yet, we’ll gladly set one up for you to get started. No prior experience or setup is required on your end — we’ll handle everything from the ground up.
When and how do I send my documents to you?
We typically need your monthly business bank and credit card statements. We set up automatic syncing with QuickBooks whenever possible — or you can securely send documents via email or our cloud-based platform. The process is designed to be as easy as possible for you.
When do you deliver my monthly financial reports?
You’ll receive your monthly financial reports by the 15th of each month, helping you stay informed and plan ahead with confidence. Consistent, timely reporting means you’re never left guessing about the health of your business.
I already have an accountant. Do I still need a bookkeeper? Yes! Accountants and bookkeepers serve different roles. While your accountant focuses on taxes and financial strategy, we ensure your day-to-day transactions are accurate and up to date — which actually makes your accountant’s job easier (and may even save you money at tax time).
What if my books are behind schedule or need a clean-up? No worries! We’re here to help get your books back on track and clean up any past discrepancies or outdated records. There’s no judgment here — just practical, effective solutions so you can move forward with a clean slate.
What if I need tax preparation?
While we don’t handle taxes directly, we can connect you with trusted CPAs who specialize in tax preparation, consulting, and strategy. We’ll make sure your books are clean and organized so the process goes smoothly for both you and your tax professional.
What are the fees?
We offer a straightforward monthly flat-rate pricing model — no surprises, no hidden fees. Let’s connect to discuss your business needs and tailor a plan that works best for you.
